SPACEial North West

Presentations

Presentation to the Association of Geographic Information Northern Ireland's (AGI_NI) Open Geospatial Conference in Belfast on May 13th, 2014

Lack of comparable crossborder spatial data has often been cited as the rationale for GI information not influencing decision making, however there is a more fundamental underlying factor, in that, GI information is not openly available in a format or system to make it accessible for non-technical decision makers.  It was with this in mind that SPACEialNW aims to allow decision makers to explore data in a geographic context and to use maps, stats and apps to support better decisions making.

Members of the SPACEialNW project team were delighted to have the opportunity to present 'SPACEialNW - Placing GI at the heart of decision making' at the Association of Geographic Information Northern Ireland's (AGI_NI) Open Geospatial Conference in Belfast on May 13th - http://www.geobig5.com/files/8913/9949/1103/ProgrammeBelfast.pdf
