Derry is home to in excess of 110,000 residents making it Northern Ireland’s second largest city and the fourth largest across the island of Ireland.  The city lies on the Foyle estuary and is famed for its 17th century walls which form a walkway around the inner city area.  The city is home to a university, numerous world class companies and a vibrant tourist economy.  In 2013 Derry became the UK’s inaugural City of Culture.
