The port town of Moville sits at the mouth of Bredaghriver as it enters the sea at Lough Foyle on Inishowen’s east coast. Lough Foyle is one of the largest and longest sea loughs in Ireland. This is a quant and idyllic coastal resort offering many sea based activities. Its most attractive feature is its handsome Green, a large seaside park in Victorian style which features bandstands, walking trails, playgounds, a coastal footpath and sweeping views east across the waters of the lough to Northern Ireland. One can choose from many accommodation types from 4 star hotels to hostels and B&B’s. There are a good selection of lively pubs and local restaurants that one would expect from such a resort centre.
